Farmers put off February 1 Parliament march
NEW DELHI/BATHINDA: A day after violence during the tractor parade rocked the capital, farm unions agitating for repeal of the new central agri laws put off their ‘Sansad March’ (march towards Parliament) scheduled for Budget day on February 1 and decided to instead hold a day-long fast on “martyrs day” on January 30, the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
He alleged the cops simply left the police post from Red Fort and provided hours to the hooligans to make their way under a conspiracy. “Deep Sidhu also made his presence felt at Red Fort,” said Rajewal. The union leaders, however, did not present any evidence of the alleged police complicity.
Before addressing the media, the unions discussed the violent in dents and leaders felt that the Centre has been "shaken" by the agitation. It was also said that when farm organizations announced the January 26 programme, elements like Deep Sidhu and KMSC attempted to torpedo the agitation. It was cmed that KMSC announced a march on Ring Road.
The Morcha leaders also cmed that only 10% of farmers in the movement turned rogue and deviated from the designated route, mostly at the behest of the KMSC and certain individuals, while 90% others stuck to their designated route and participated in the parade in a peaceful manner.
Now Go nment should not go on back foot. there should be no talk with te rort. No repeal of laws. issue an order to vacate prest sites in two days.
Shuot at site throw them out of border area .
At anycost dont repeal the laws.
Shoot these illiterate te rort!! SHOOT ! NO MERCY!
The Delhi Police should be congratulated for showing such restraint. They are great warriors.
they should be chased back to their states and not permitted to be even within a km of the Capital.
Regardless of who backed whom, everyone that broke through police cordons and entered redfort illegally must be arrested and booked.
firstly : The laws are not anti farmers. Secondly : The middlemen have been agitating posing as farmers and their bluff has been called. Thirdly : Majority of the agitators are from Punjab, some from Haryana and a sprinkling from western UP. So majority of the farmers from the country favour the laws. And lastly : The agitation is po itically motivated and bound to fail.
Too much restraint is cowardice.
Modi silenced the presters without firing a single bullet. Modi again2024.
