Why does a nuclear India fear China?
Niranjan Chavan, former Research Scholar at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research
India does not fear any country .nor Pakistan fear to India . just Indian people want to see their country on the top so they always try to compare them with the one who is better than India.specially china . because china is also develo country like India. in short you don’t need to take tension just do smart work and and make your contribution to develop our country. and last thing your head be stressed by thing this kind of silly question so go out and have fresh sugar cane juice that will help you.

Bravery is not overconfidence its precise judgement of opponents strength & weakness vs. yours.
Both countries know that any altercation will significantly impact economic growth of its own which is priority for both…
Recent events are just fleng muscles to let each other know their capabilities…

Lol we remember who scared who in 1967
India has around 110–120 confirmed nuclear missile, each having the capability of wi out a major metropolitan area. Almost all of them, spare Prithvi-1, 2, and 3 can reach a major Chinese metropolitan area.
All this being said, this will most likely never happen. While Indian could destroy China, China could do way worse. They have more missiles and another nuclear ally to India's west. Also, India's population density is way higher (although urban population is way lower, which could make China's job challenging). Also, neither country wants nuclear war, which would make every side a loser and could potentially end humanity.
Ramakrishnan C M, Colonel, Indian Army, retd, BSc, PGDM, MA(Political Science)
China has nearly 300 war heads, (280 last credible count) China's nuclear arsenal.
China like India’s nuclear doctrine eschews ‘first strike ‘. This is the responsible way to handle nuclear weapons. It has delivery systems by missiles, aircraft as well as nuclear submarines. They are meant for credible deterrence.
Indian delivery systems are clearly not on the same scale as that of China but enough for credible deterrence.
Kv Reddy, former Served at Indian Army for Sixteen Years.
China is aspiring to be a super power, surpassing U.S. China is the second largest economy after U.S.A. Militarily, China’s goal is to be no. 1 , not just in Asia but in the whole world. In the development of missiles , atomic sciences and super computers , China is making big strides. China did have it’s means to match her ambitions of becoming a regional and subsequently global power. To increase and upgrading of nuclear arsenal is essential for China to be in the race for joining the world’s big power.
At present, India doesn't harbour any such ambitions of becoming a super power. India’ s economy is only 1/5 th of China’s . India’s requirement now is to have strong nuclear deterrent and defence strength to contain China’s aggression to occupy some land.
