外文标题：Japan vows to expel Chinese from disputed Diayou islands
BEIJING: The tussle between China and Japan escalated on Tuesday with Tokyo encouraging Japanese activists to sail to the disputed Diayou islands in protest against Beijing's attempt to occupy it. China intensified its campaign by sending its surveillance ships to the waters near the uninhabited islands.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe insisted the island chain remains under the "active control" of Tokyo and vowed to "expel by force" any Chinese landing on the islands. The statement comes in the wake of a group of 168 lawmakers visiting the controversial Yasukuni Shrine that honours military officials of the past whom China describes as war criminals.
There were no reports of clashes as a flotilla of 10 boats carrying 80 national activists from Japan neared the disputed islands, which China claims as its own. The boats were escorted by the Japanese coast guard in the manner the Chinese coast guard escorted activists from Hong Kong some months back.
Reacting sharply, Chinese foreign ministry said the trip by the activists was "illegal" and "trouble-making". On its part, Japan summoned the Chinese ambassador to Tokyo.
Good. India is putting a lid on the Chinese incursion 10 km into its territory!

China could do well to refrain from any adventurous action until the matter is resolved peacefully. Use of force is meaningless for it only leads to tension and more troubles that are dangerous Instead China should focus on its Xinjiang borders with Pakistan for that is where from its troubles come from. The fanatical Islamic radicals are the single most dangerous threat to China for they have the potential to venture deep inside China and indulge in campaign of suicide bombing and killings

India should take a hard stand like Japan on intrusion in Ladakh. If we dont know how to act, atleast learn from Japan.
