外文标题：India likely to become 3rd largest economy by 2030
India is likely to become the third largest economy by 2030 behind China and the USA, a Standard Chartered report said while projecting that the world is in the midst of an economic ‘super-cycle’.
A super-cycle is a period of historically high global growth, lasting a generation or more, driven by opening up of new markets, increasing trade, high rates of investment, urbanisation and technological innovation.
India is likely to be the third largest economy with a gross domestic product size of $15 trillion by 2030, says Standard Chartered’s Super-Cycle Report.
China with a GDP of $53.8 trillion is projected as the biggest economy, followed by the US at $38.5 trillion.
Though slowdown in some major emerging economies is a concern, a modest set of reforms could trigger a growth revival in several large emerging economies, including China, India, Indonesia, Nigeria and Brazil, it said.
Indian policy makers appear to be responding to the concerns, with monetary policy now firmly signalling an anti-inflation stance and measures being taken to address the funding of the large current account deficit, the report said.
No 3 is not bad because….
we already are No 1 when it comes to:
-> Infant mortality
-> Child marriages
-> Filth and garbage
-> Population growth
-> Educated yet uncouth politicians
-> Crass show of power
-> Burgeoning income gap
What is there to worry?

Indian economy has enough potential to become 2nd largest economy in the world within just 15 years and largest economy within 30 years from now, if we can control rampant corruption in our country & ensure massive investment in all types of infrastructure for next two / three decade.

To alleviate poverty in India, governance must be really decentralized with will and wisdom. Every state in India should have their own currency.
Indian’s weakness is American and all developed countries strengt
When we were fighting among ourselves in the name of religion, caste, language etc., Arab and British came here and divided, ruled and looted for so many years.
Now we are not aware and do not know how to make money using science and technology, American and all other developed countries are coming here and making India as their markets and making lots of money. Sadly we have very small number our own industries as compared to developed countries. Unless our politicians and common people are started realizing the importance of industrialization and privatization and also forgetting corruption, we cannot become developed country. Indian’s weakness is American and all developed countries strength.

What a nonsense! Does the author of this cortical understand what is economy? We are most corrupt, mismanaged nation in the world! and still shameless. Major proportion of poor in the world stay in India. Major proportion of malnourished children are in India. We do not know what is professionalism; our systems of governance work for politicians and not for common man. Our babus are busy in serving our politicians. Our parliamentarians think once janata elected then, janata can not have independent and different views – Indian concept of democracy. Aim of Our education system is to produces unemployable.

This standard chartered is a fool. He should understand that by 2030 the other countries should also strive forward. This fellow thinks only India will progress and other countries will remain where their are now.
