原文标题：Chinese woman tortures step-daughter to death
BEIJING: A woman in China's Shanxi province has been detained for allegedly torturing her seven-year-old step-daughter to death.
According to the autopsy report, the girl, identified as Xiao Ran, had bruises and burns all over her body and blood filled her belly which suffered blunt blows. Doctors said she died of septic shock due to abdomen infections, Shanghai Daily reported.
The woman surnamed Li was also found to have stabbed the girl's palm, back and abdomen with an awl - a long pointed spike - bashed her face with a board, tied her neck with a rope, and burned her lower back.
Li would always lock her room before torturing the little girl so as to avoid getting heard by neighbours, said the girl's grandmother.
The girl's biological father admitted having noticed her injuries but never paid serious thought to that.
The revelation has triggered nationwide outrage with many internet users questioning why no one took any action to stop the woman's atrocity past two years.

This sort of incidence are widespread in China. Tortures and repression has become part of their lives. Under a dictatorial and corrupt government, people have lost their moral values. Atrocities on the poor and helpless has become order of the day. No wonder, this paper states that the incidence has been occurring for the past two years. In communist China, who cares on basic human rights? Degression of once old communist civilization is visible at every level. You don't have to believe my words, just wait for more and more of such news to be heard. God bless the poor chinese souls!

You seem to be an expert on this type of injury, have you ever been out of your village ? Have you ever read what goes on in Indian villages or the statistics reported by toi ? Get rid of that smug look, India is no better if not worse.

Thing this such things are actually rare which is why they became NEWS. Where as in India such things are a daily occurance throughout the country, women are killed by their mother inlaws for too little dawry, lovers killed because they hailed from different castes, baby girls buried alive to protect the family's other children, they occure so often that they aren't even considered news worthy any more, no wonder India is know as the biggest shithole on earth.

Indians are angels, our Indian culture forbids us to do it.
The woman is one case entirely, but how can the girl's Biological father know this and do nothing?? He is worse than his wife.
