原文标题：China's new fighter jet has 3,000 km range
BEIJING: Chinese fighter jet J-15, which successfully landed on the country's first aircraft carrier, has a range of about 3,000 km without refuelling and strong sea-air combat capability, said an official.
Zhang Junshe, deputy director of the country's Naval Military Studies Research Institute, told the People's Daily that the successful takeoff and landing of the J-15 is a clear sign of an increase in the fighting capacity of the aircraft carrier.
Carrier-based aircraft is an important symbol of the fighting capacity of an aircraft carrier, he said.
Zhang said the J-15 is China's first generation of independently developed carrier-based aircraft.
It is a third-generation fighter with strong sea-air combat capability and supersonic speeds. It can carry multiple types of long-range anti-ship and air-to-air missiles.
The J-15 has a range of about 3,000 km without refueling, and thus has strong long-range combat capability, said the media report.
After the successful takeoff and landing of the carrier-based aircraft, the navy will now test other components of the carrier battle group.

Whatever be the credibility of this plane. At least it has been developed. What are we doing. Still testing the LCA? which may not fly more than a few hundred km.
India is the First Asian country to have an aircraft carrier. next comes Thailand. China is the poor third.
Long Live Pak China Friendship.Soon this fighter jet is used by world no-1 Pak Airforce.
Dr. Kaushik Ray (Nagpur)
Well, China copied this fighter from the Russian Sukhoi 33 using reverse engineering
China would win the win (Pakistan )

Can you please check where the components of the computer you are using to type these comments are made? Keep in mind that just because something is made in China doesn't mean its inferior product. Good quality always goes hand in hand with higher price tag. If you choose to be a miser and pay less, be ready to compromise on quality as well.

India beware. Its for us only. All china is doing is boasting its defense capabilities and planning to claim north east region.
Agree (4)Disagree (4)Recommend (1)
competition of arms and ammunition in the region is not healthy. But China should not clap for himself. India has Sukhoi since long back (2002) and with same or say more powerful than J15. In fact J15 is quite similar to Sukhoi. I believe Russia should go for litigation against china for breaching patent.

Seems to be more of a propaganda than the actual capability of the aircraft. The range of any aerial platform is dependent on the weapon and sensor system configuration as is relevant to a particular mission. So, it might be having the range as claimed, but then what is the weapon and system configuration carried by the aircraft?

Were is our own LCA, I believe still in concept stage even 30 yrs after it was supposed to be main stay of our ageing air force, no wonder why China is light years ahead of us militarily .

Why are people comparing the LCA and the J 15 when they are not the same class of fighters, Indians by nature are pessismistic people.Compare the J 15 with the Sukhoi 30 Mki and the J 15 would mean nothing. The J 15 is nothing but the copy of the su 27 , a rudimentary junk with chinese avionics and a Russian engine. Su 30Mkis are fitted with Israeli, American and Indian Avionics with the Russian thrust.

Being bhikari is probabaly better than an open air toilet country of yours where around 600 million adult men and women urinate and defecate out in the open, first provide at least some place to call the answer of nature before slinging your inner sh*t on others, pathetic existence don't look at their own selves and comment on others loser sh*ts

India and China will never go to full scale war, contrary to what some Pakis may think. Why? Because whats the f***** point? It will kill a lot of people, cost a lot of money and leave a lot of destruction no matter who wins......Besides, who the f*** wants to be in charge of a country with a combined population of 2.5 billion?? The number of religions, languages, cultures, ethnicities to deal with is too much of headache for anyone to care.

LOL. Pakistan is even bigger sh*thole than India and you know it. The truth is when Indians defecate in open its a big deal because we an emerging economic powerhouse and people expect better. No one expects anything from Pakis. Do you hear stories of people shh*tting openly in Africa? No. You think that means they all have 5star AC toilets? No. Its because no one gives a f*** about useless countries. The world has already listed you as a failed state.

in the beginning, China was thinking of copying something from India. But after a long time of waiting, they lost their patience and decided to copy Russians.

The Chinese J-11B is the direct copy and reverse engineered from Su 27K which China had purchased in Feb 1991. A total of 76 such had been purchased. This aircraft J-15 is the direct copy of Su-33 for which China did purchase one Su-33 from the dead stock of Ukraine and has reverse engineered the same. They purchased an unfinished Su-33 prototype, the T-10K-3 some where in 2001.

Chinese are prodigious copiers. J15 is a copy of SU 33/SU 27. Russian engineers must be flattered by all this.. but it makes the Chinese look like thieves and intellectual pygmies!!!
