原文标题：China sends ships to islands disputed with Japan: Xinhua
BEIJING: China has sent two patrol ships to a group of islands at the centre of a territorial row with Japan, state news agency Xinhua reported Tuesday, after Tokyo said it would nationalise them.
Xinhua said the two marine surveillance ships had reached the waters around the Diaoyu islands — known in Japan as the Senkaku islands — to "assert the country's sovereignty".
The latest move came hours after Beijing said late Monday it had summoned the Japanese ambassador to protest Tokyo's announcement that it will buy three of the islands, which will be formally owned by Japan's Coast Guard.
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said the islands were "an inherent part of China's territory" and vowed his country would "never ever yield an inch" on its sovereignty.
The islands lie around 200 kilometres (125 miles) from Taiwan, and 2,000 kilometres from Tokyo, in a strategically important shipping area. Valuable mineral resources are thought to be nearby.
Often testy Japan-China ties took a turn for the worse in August when pro-Beijing activists landed on one of the islands.
They were arrested by Japanese authorities and deported. Days later about a dozen Japanese nationalists raised their country's flag on the same island, Uotsurijima, prompting protests in cities across China.
Japan's government currently leases four islands and owns a fifth. It does not allow people to visit and has a policy of not building anything there.

It's good that China is being kept busy by Japan over these islands. As long as this dispute is heated up China will not think of opening of another one (with India).

And so we should all work together to keep the old dragon at bay. One wolf growls in the face, whole another bites the heels and tail. Asian democracies should work together to enforce fair policies upon China until it also turns to democracy. So while Japan might have attention of China today with remote islands, tomorrow perhaps India can remind China we care about Tibet. Then next day, Vietnam or Philippines can advise China of plans to explore for oil in South China Sea. Then day after, Russia could deport a few hundred Chinese illegals logging in Siberia. Then the US could sell something to Taiwan, or Australia, and so the cycle begins again the following weeks and months. Eventually China will be taught to behave.

Do you think does China has guts? War is not staging thousand and thousand of Uniformed solders on Tan-man square ground. War is fought on battle ground.

Japan has nothing to worry even if China flexes its military muscle or even go to war with Japan as there is a treaty between Japan and USA led NATO that if any country attack Japan, than the conflict will spread automatically between China and USA backed NATO. China will not act but only growl as it knows the impact which will be very bad for China to absorb. Like-wise China cannot act against Taiwan, Phillipines and Australia in the same fashion. Otherwise one can think that China by now would have devoured Taiwan and Phillipines. Taiwan and Phillipines are attacking China only due to USA backing.

Its time japan also show their true might, we should remember they had the most powerful military once China needs wants to devour all the land for itself, they are still not happy after taking so much by devious ways from other counteries, its time some one should stop them, if japan can do it all other counteries would support japan.
