外文标题：China draws ‘red line’ on North Korea, says won’t allow war on peninsula
BEIJING: China declared a “red line” on North Korea on Saturday, saying that China will not permit chaos or war on the Korean peninsula, and that peace can only come through denuclearization.
China is North Korea’s most important diplomatic and economic supporter, though Beijing’s patience with Pyongyang has been severely tested following three nuclear tests and numerous bouts of sabre rattling, including missile launches.
“The Korean peninsula is right on China’s doorstep. We have a red line, that is, we will not allow war or instability on the Korean peninsula,” Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi told reporters on the sidelines of China’s annual largely rubber—stamp parliament.
Wang called upon all parties to “exercise restraint”, adding that “genuine and lasting peace” on the peninsula was only possible with denuclearization.
US secretary of state John Kerry visited China last month and said after talks in Beijing that China and the United States were discussing specific ways to press North Korea to give up its nuclear programme.

all nuclear power wants others to not to go nuclear
China is not listening to anybody!
Chinese seem to hope that Denuclearization might be possible in N.Korea! However, till date, Denuclearization policies, have been a colossal failure!! The solution has to be political and economical!! Denuclearization of N.K, might thus not be a great bet!!
Time to impose sanctions on China as well.

Right, you see the thing about sanctions is usually, it’s the economically strong imposing them upon the economically weak; and the only one economically stronger now than China is the USA, and their relationship is so closely linked that if one fails, so does the other.

India of course. It is a Supperpower..
This drawing of ” red line” by China is but an eye wash. China is the big brother of N.Korea.
China, for a long time, has been acting like a big brother to N.Korea. But the dragon is eyeing N.Korea hungrily. Its thought is war between the North and the South Korean, in which it will help the North, and the South will be pushed back. Soon it will rule over N.Korea as it did over the Mongolians and the Tibetans.
China is never at easewith any nation!!
China, certainly, can not afford to have war going on in its neighboring area. As the US, South Korea and Japan are conducting air and naval exercises in the North China Sea, and of which, China regarded as a preparation of war against North Korea, it warns N.Korea that peace can only come through denuclearization.
