China’s navy is still at least 26 years behind Indian Navy. INS Viraat was induced in April 1986.

I think it will take China at least 20 years to catch up with India then. Your comments remind me the words that It will take Shanghai 20 years to catch up with Mumbai. And 7 years ago, PM MMS promised to the world that the world would forget Shanghai and could only remember Mumbai in only 5 years. You guys are very funny.

nothing will happen. the best part of china is their body language. i am staying in china for 10 years now and know that they have mastered the perfection of body language. this does not mean they are weak or timid, coward or anything, but there is no need to give much attention to their body language. i have been engaged in fights with locals, they appear hefty, muscular, scary, but when and once you hit them they are like cows…………moooooooooooos! Africans beat them like a small cricket ball! so much so other middle east countries ( based on their embassy power) nevertheless, they know their economic might body language of defense will scare small and dependent nations like japan, vietnam, indonesia, philipines etc. this is what they do. let the war happend, it will not be china and for sure not the same china. ek machhar hathi ko maar sakta hai ek ek chinti dragon ko maar sakti hai
TERA PAYO (PAKISTAN) replies to abdul hussain 12 hrs ago
The humiliating 1962 war was also fought with body language. When India retaliated Chinese went away like cows calling ….mooooooos. To stop Chinese from crying India gifted them 120,000 sq km of Indian territory incl Aksai Chin. Then they lived happily ever after.

Zaid Khan (Hyderabad) replies to TERA PAYO 11 hrs ago
Paki suar, 1962 was a different matter. Chinese were well-prepared, as they were the invaders. India was not even expecting any confrontation with China, due to chants of ‘Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai’. Indians did not have any military equipments to fight wars in those territories. Moreover, the Indians were outnumbered in the ratio 1:10. What result you could expect. But now we are well-prepared. If any misadventure from Chinese, they will get a bloody nose and humiliation.

Listen Paki, you,of all people have no business to talk like that.Your country is famous for sending suicide bombers to kill and maim harmless and defenceless people. When faced with proper armies your country retreats as it did in 1965,1971(Losing half of its territory)and also in Kargil. Coming back to 1962,yes India did very badly against a superior force mainly because of Nehru’s pacifist ideas.Today,as your country well knows is a differnt day altogether.

Like other cheap Chinese products, if their missiles miss the target and hit India? So, India must be cautious and must take some precautionary measures to thwart the misfiring.

It not about the arms, the very attitude of China is dangerous. It has problem with almost all neighboring countries. They think if Chinese bird sit on some tree then that tree is theirs. They captured Tibbet on such false historical assumptions. I am not sure, if they are thinking all those lands where Chengiz khan put his feet be theirs. you never know.

We ordered for our own aircraft carrier from Ukraine/Russia earlier than China. China got it fast and early too, whilst Indian aircraft is hanging at Ukraine shipyard and eating our hard earned money by raising the price every now and than. When we ordered the aircraft carrier, it was around Rs.4,000 crores. Now I believe it has cross more than Rs.15,000 crores and still going high and hiked. Russia is no more our friends, but a pure business minded country oozing out India blood by way of hiking and hiking with no end.

China must stop expansionism national policy. China swallowed Tibet the most peaceful nation, Now eyes on Arunanchal pradesh a integral part of India, Has taken part of Ladakh, has got dispute with Taiwan and Japan. They are going to get what they deserve in the coming years, first internally and then externally. The fall of China is obvious but communistic eye can’t see it. Japan is right in claiming the island which they occupy for centuries. Japan is not alone and has got support of the many neighboring states.

Acquisition of an aircraft carrier by China does not alter the balance of power in South Asia or the Indian ocean region. The tactics of deploying a carrier is itself a major subject and it would take them many years to master the same. A Carrier is a white elephant at sea unless you have the escort ships to give close protection and long range maritime aircraft to give it the distant support. In other words it is termed as a carrier battle group. Today , only the US has credible carrier battle groups to boast of . On the other hand carrier is mostly used as a diplomatic tool and for force projection in areas of interest. The carriers that belong to the France , UK or India can be effectively utilised for the latter role.

Indians are still living in a grand illusion that India is in race against China to become a superpower. If I talk about reality, in every serious talk on international politics it is only China which is considered as serious power not India. Indians as usual are living in fools paradise. On one hand this great nation called China and its citizens are protesting so aggressively against some random islands which are probably not even 0.01% of China’s total area and on the other hand shameless Indians first lost significant part of JK to Pakistan in October 1947 and then another large chunk of land in 1962 and today these lands don’t even exist in popular imagination of Indians and their dirty politics. But still Indians think they are rising superpower. Most of their politicians are busy in votebank politics, reservation politics, corruption, and bickering over petty issues and on the other hand the whole Chinese nation is standing united against some random islands. This is how superpowers behave. Merely self-appointing oneself as major world power doesn’t make the one world power.

Unfortunately, there are two evil nations in Asia. One has taken to terrorism as its state policy and the other has taken to expansionism, intimidation and bullying as its state policy. One way to contain and restrain these evil nations is for all democratic nations in Asia to join together and fight them out.

Aircraft carrier is good but now-a-days there are so many effective missiles and torpedoes which can be fired from submarines that can destroy an aircraft carrier within minutes. That can lead to a huge loss. However, these all are assumptions and capability of an aircraft carrier can be assessed in real time war… Congrats to China for its ability to remake the carrier at home and not like India where money goes out to swiss account in the name of arms and weapons purchase…

This aircraft carrier is a paper tiger. It was a junk purchased from Ukraine when Ukraine. had strong relations with the U.S. Jewish lobby. No secret China and Israel are allies. While Israeli technicians did help it still can not effectively land planes. Research things and look deeper then the truth will emerge.
