京沪高铁全长1318公里,是世界上一次建成最长的高铁。印度Rediff网对中国京沪高铁的开通进行了报道。报道称中国高铁甚至有延伸到欧洲的宏伟计划。有的印度网民不屑地称“这些中国火车都是由日本川崎重工生产的。中国甚至不能生产令人满意的一把雨伞或者一只鞋子”;有的印度网民则惊呼“真了不起…这是唯一可以形容的词”。

China on Thursday flagged off its much talked about high-speed bullet trains linking Beijing and Shanghai ahead of friday’s 90th anniversary of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC).

The train cuts the travel time of the 1,318-km route to just 5 hours, half of what it took previously.

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao travelled by the first train to Shanghai after formally flagging if off in Beijing.

The train links China’s prosperous Pan-Bohai and Yangtze River Delta economic zones, cutting the train-travel time between the two cities to under five hours.

The bullet trains were currently being operated between several Chinese cities. However, Beijing-Shanghai covers the longest distance.

The Beijing-Shanghai train track was laid at the cost 215 billion yuan ($32.5 billion). A one-way ticket on this route will cost $63-270. It is expected to carry 80 million passengers a year.

高铁连接中国繁荣的环渤海地区和长三角经济区,将两大城市群之间的旅行时间减少到低于5小时。

The train travels at a maximum operating speed of about 300 kph (185 mph) instead of originally targeted 350 kph (216 mph) for safety reasons.

The train was also launched amid reports that the costs involved in running high speed trains, which also needed special tracks were driving the railway into heavy debt.

China has the world’s longest high-speed rail (HSR) network with about 8,358 kilometres of routes in service as of January 2011 including 2,197 km (1,365 mi) of rail lines with top speeds of 350 km/h (220 mph).

Write ups in official media in Beijing quoted the National Audit Office, as saying that the Railway Ministry was burdened with 1.3 trillion yuan ($200 billion) in debt in 2009 due to expenditure being incurred on the high speed tracks.

The Chinese government is going ahead with massive expansion of the high speed trains with new plans to expand the network to 13,000 km of track this year and 16,000 km by 2020.

The trains are also putting pressure on country’s domestic airlines forcing to radically slash their ticket fares.

The electric bullet train, CRH-380A has been designed by China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation Limited (CSR) and manufactured by CSR Qingdao Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co.

CRH-380A is one of the four Chinese train series, which have been designed to run at an operating speed of 380 km/hr (236 mph) on newly constructed high-speed railway network.

By 2012, China will have more high-speed train tracks than the rest of the world.

China has plans to extend its high speed rail network to northern Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

China also has ambitious plans to extend its high-speed rail network to Europe.

到2012年,中国的高铁长度将比世界上其他国家高铁加起来还长。

Why should we have such high speed trains in India? If it derails (which is often the case), there is this extra aspect of providing compensation and all other things that goes with it…we don’t want high speed trains…we are satisfied with what we have…duranto is the way to go!

indian fastest train can reach a speed of 150KMPH,half of the chinese bullet train,so indian railway is not so bad as you thought.

Hope they extend this servive to our capital, but with our permission! China already has offered to run their train services through South East Asia right upto Singapore! Also, soon enough to Europe!

In Yangtze Delta of china, over 800,000 professional jobs opening potentially for indians too. Those jobs are for every professional field…
English is must, and BS degree is min. 5-year or more working experience is plus!
Average pay for foriegners professional there is ranged US$30,000 – $150,000 per year.

Yangtze Delta consist of 14 cities, including Shanghai. The Yangtze Delta economy is about size of Germany economy. Good luck!

BTW, many many job openings in Pearl River Delta too. The Pearl River Delta economy is close to the France economy size. Contact your local international job agents for details..

Other places are the China’s Bohai rim, where lots of foriegners work there too…
Lots of opportinuities there. Today, Bohai rim economy devleoped so fast of which the economy is close to India GDP.

Some places, not as developed as above, but with highest growth rate and for sure will double next 5 – 10 years. Such as called CHAMPS (Chongqing, Hefei, Anshan, Maanshan, Pingdingshan and Shenyang). Good opportinuity there.

All smart Indians, it is time to think this before you go aboard. US is no longer an ideal place to go…

So long dummy prime minister is in our country the country will not at all develop. If at all I will born in my next birth I want to born in China which I have prayed the God. It is developing like anything and the US has also pointed out recently that China will be the No.1 in the world in the coming future for its developmental activities. Here the old aged politicians neither they want to leave the chair nor keeping mum and usefully thinking how to accumulate wealth/money for their future generations. When this kind of thinking is here the country will not develop and every where the naxals activity will be growing.

the first indian bullet train gets flagged off from kanyakumari to kashmir.first it reaches trivandrum. when it is about to leave,students and police clash and because of stone throwing, it gets delayed for an hour.next destination is bangalore.

no sooner it reaches bangalore, the driver notices kumaraswamy and devegowda squatting on tracks.they accuse that yeddy is carrying illegal cash in that train.another hour delay. then it leaves for chennai.

again hartals as karuna is blocking the track to ensure kani’s release from tihar. huh..next destination hyderabad. the great patriot kcr is not allowing it to move until telangana is formed..next it reaches mumbai.senaites are demanding jobs for mumbaikars and another delay.

then it covers MP,chattisgarh and naxals keep bombs on tracks..after its cleared,it is destined for orissa,where anti posco activists are eagerly awaiting to welcome it(did i really mean)..another hour delay and then it proceeds to bengal,where one could see huge crowds and leading them is didi..

when the train driver asks her , madam, u have become the CM now,whats the need to protest and against whom?didi says,driverji, i went for a morning walk but people thought that i am leading a protest and thats y the crowd..they are habituated in the last 6 years or so..

the train proceeds to maya land..one beautiful woman passenger screams and before someone could realise shes been raped…another delay…the driver is fed up and req his boss for sabatical..

火车继续前往玛雅…一位漂亮的女乘客惊叫,在人们意识到怎么回事前,她已经被强奸了…又一次延误…司机受够了,向老板要求休假…

1)First it was Tele Communications – Now nobody cares for BSNL
2) Next was Airlines – indian Airlines boho Bhav khata tha.
3)Third is Road transport. Lal Bus may jake peeth dukhta tha
4) Time for railways to privatize to give professional fast service.
5) LPG gas connection is also next in Line.
High Speed may require – almost flat terrian
where sharp curves is limitation- So Tunnels, Viaducts(bridges over lands) is a must

1. 首先(已经私有化的)是电信。现在没人关心印度国有电信公司(BSNL)

2. 下一个(已经私有化的)是航公公司…

3. 第三个是公路运输…

4. 铁路该私有化了,从而提供专业的快速服务。

5. 液化石油天然气网络也是下一个应该私有化的。

高铁要求几乎平坦的地形,急弯曲线是个限制。所以隧道、高架是必须的。

Why India take so long time for completing all most all developmental project, whereas in China it does not get delayed at all – whether for land acquisition, for getting environmental clearances, getting financial clearances or for completing actual physical work?

In Indian democratic system that is challenge and in future every politician irrespective of party, administrators, planners, NGOs and ministers, have to take seriously. If these people, who are at the helm of affair, think about earning under-the-table money from the project, it ought to get delayed, over-expensive and hampers quality.

On war-footing this menace has to be eliminated. Most irony in Indian condition is almost all educated mass those are at the helm of any governmental affair or are in Governmental Regulating Agencies, are corrupt and before starting a project or giving approval, they think of getting kick-back or find ways how to earn under-the-table money.

This is very much disturbing…… and no IITs or IIMs do not teach how to prevent these menace….!!

为什么印度几乎所有开发项目都要很长时间才能完成,而中国完全不延期。不管是获取土地、获得环保通过、解决资金问题或者完成项目的实际操作。

在印度皿煮体制中,那是具有挑战性的。未来,不管是来自哪个政党的政客、当局者、规划者、非政府组织和部长,都必须严肃对待。如果这些掌舵的人想着从工程中不当获利,工程就会延期、过于昂贵和影响质量。

Communist China is showing,promising it’s citizens by doing what west is failing in few aspects.No one can finger in Chinese issues.
Even west could not show it’s might to China and the Allies of West fear the Dragon’s acts.

It spends much of it’s money on developments with no kickbacks,but we In India face many things like have to pay tax and support Khadi Devils to cut us in different directions,we are likely to face deficiet in many fields .We pay taxes but the roads we travel becomes worse to continue to travel.Where is the development?

In all spheres we have scams,interference of babus,Khadi Devils,Political party funds etc.India never ever can do what China does and shows the world.It takes less time in China to complete any project but it takes decades to gets clearance of Right of way issues.

共产中国在一些方面办成西方都失败的事情,向公民展示希望。没人可以染指中国人的问题。甚至西方都不能向中国炫耀实力。西方联盟害怕中国龙。

中国将许多资金投入发展中,不存在回扣。但在印度,我们面临许多问题,比如不得不纳税和支持卡迪魔鬼在不同方向伤害我们。我们在许多领域面临低效。我们纳税,但我们持续旅行的公路变得更糟糕。发展在哪里?
