India only overshadows China in population growth, a faile democracy by its own netas and stashing billions of black money in foreign banks. Moreover anybone can start abusing own country and even try to sell it without any fear for being punished. Even a hard core criminal becomes hero of its own religion, caste, community or region. China awards quick capital punishment to blackmarketeers, criminals, drug peddalers and corrupt peoples. Can we think of that in India.

Here criminal or traitor is either Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian and not an enemy of the society. Appesement policy is seen every where and people like Digvijay, Laloo and Mulayam can go to any length to appease certain section of the society to get bl-o-ody votes. This votebank is making this country corrupt. Even Mallika Sherawat is frank enough to say that Gandhian loke Anna is going for hunger strike because our Netas have eaten too much. Madhy says as and when you say our netas are c-ho–r you are a part of Annas crusade.

这里的罪犯或者叛徒是印度教徒、msl、锡克教徒或者基督徒,而不是社会的敌人。绥靖政策到处可见。人们可以想尽一切办法姑息社会的某部分人以得到肮脏的选票,比如迪格维贾伊、拉鲁和马拉亚姆。票仓使国家腐败。甚至玛丽卡·沙拉瓦特坦诚,甘地主义者安纳是因为内塔斯贪污太多才绝食抗议的。马蒂称,如果你说我们的内塔斯是腐败的,你就是安纳运动的一份子。

Just see how china is improving on its transportation.Forget Bullet trains in India,atleast we need to imporve our Rajdhani itself .We need to learn from them

China is as and in fact more populous than india, so the argument of population has been turned on its head.

At least try to increase the speed of the train to 100 from present 50-60 km per hour(Bangalore to Jaipur 2500 km in 44 hours). But for that Indian political parties have to stop fighting for survival among themselves and at least do something for country and same goes for the citizens. We must put the country first before anything.

Just try to take a fraction out of how the China has transformed itself in one generation be it in sports, economics, infrastructure, we can at least do some better than present that is sure.

Also ministers first have to stop running trains to their own villages(Laloo, Nitish, Paswan) and stop passing time in Railways for CM post in state(Mamta) then at least they can even think of something like increasing speed of a train.

…and we blame MSN / Thakre for regionalism. WTF

Chinese are living in 21st century and Indians are living in 17th century. What chinese govt. want to do there, it will be happened in China whereas in India even a road connecting Kashmir to Kanyakumari is not at all possible by India govt. and if so for what purpose this federal system in India to loot the country or develop the country.

India had the first railway train in Asia way back in 1865 when Bombay to Thane line was operational. China was in bullock cart age then and it took 40 years no less for them to get first railway.

SHAME ON REDIFF TO undermine the BEST RAILWAY SYSTEM of the WORLD called INDIAN Railways that carries 5 billion passengers annually, NONE in the world match this.

u r correct, we had railways long before china, but we are stuck with 1865 model railways, while chinese are zooming around in 21st century railways. all this false provide shud go if india has to develop

In 1865 the Railway system was introduced by British,India didn’t have any role in it

mad fellow you are not a man who knows the language problems. Mentals lime you often talk that china get with Englihs in no time. Languge never comes artificially for economic reasons. They shoud love it like their mother tongue, which never happens in China.

In Inidia we have no way ohthe than using English. NO one except 40% indians liem HIndi. English is naturalized in Inida which never happens in China. Mentals like you can never unerstand the language problems. Even if you are 20 you can never see any meaningful improvemet in China for english. YOu rememeber this and wait and see for all your life till your death.

We could have also developed similar trains, but we are not doing it due to the fear of naxalites blowing up tracks, which could result in a serious accidents, for such a high speed train. For slow trains, the damage done is limited to one or two bogeys. Second reason is the passengers cannot enjoy the scenery outside, in such high speed trains. Third reason is that marriage alliances cannot happen in just 5 hours, it needs at least 24 hours.

Even China looks far neat and cleaner. Look at their railway stations. It is internationql standard. It will be lightyears before India can see such progress.

Mumbai to Chennai is also 1300 KMs, but it takes 23 hours. China is nearly 5 times ahead
