The Chinese impress me even more than the westerners for their orderliness and cleanliness. Indians tend to be disorderly, chaotic and uncivil. Our norms are low if not non-estent.

This order and stability is the main stay of their steady progress. The strictness is required for civilizing the uncivil. If the laws are slack and the punishments non-estent even small time thieves become a headache for the society.

Yes Jai, China is fascinating and mesmerizing if we see it without prejudices and bias. Even if a lot is spoken about their sup ession, restrictions on media fre m, h an ri hts, their international policies- there is lot of good here to see and speak about. There's a lot of order and now with riches reaching down to all, people seem to be happy too.

Thanks Divya,

By high speed ferry, you can reach the mount with in two hours from Shanghai. When I went there, I was working in Zoushan but it took us 2/3 hrs. to reach as we had to travel by ferry- ta and then ferry again as I lived on another island named ushan.
