BMW will be the first foreign car maker to offer ride-hailing in China
If BMW is going to be a giant in mobility services, it'll need to make inroads into some major markets... and it's doing just that. The company now plans to launch a ride-hailing service in China in December, becoming the first international automaker to obtain a license in the country.
The service won't be huge, at least not at first. BMW obtained its license in the southwestern city of Chengdu.

China. ..lol....what a disgusting cesspool
Trump is give up China market to all other countries. USA will be looser in long run. No more US chips because they will stop supplying any time Conservative want. US supply chain are no longer reliable.
Considering how often BMWs break down and how much they cost to fix, they'll have to charge a lot per ride to make money. You definitely don't want to be driving a BMW during the zombie apocalypse.
Oh my, I can imagine the number of times they break down...
Barack Hussein Obama Is A Jack Off
Big deal. China let one company into one of their 2nd tier cities. And if BMW starts to beat out local competition China will just put up tons of administrative roadblocks to slow them down. China is not an open market. This is why Kudlow and Trump and everyone are hammering them.
oh sure, must be why GM is the largest auto company in china for 15 years straight and counting
