Is that a floating building? Bizarre Chinese boat shaped like block of flats becomes an internet sensation

Bizarre footage apparently showing a five-storey apartment building cruising down the Yangtze River in China has made waves on social media.

The unusual sight on Saturday turned out to be a large floating restaurant being pushed along the river by two smaller boats to new location in Chongqing.

The eatery, named Impression Jiangin, had to be relocated by local authorities because it was causing too much pollution to the river, according to Chinese media

原来是重庆两艘小船拖着一艘大的餐饮船。

餐饮船叫做“印象江津”，由于给河流造成太大污染而被要求搬迁。

I don't understand how moving these things will cut down on pollution since it just moved the problem elsewhere. People will still eat and if the location was good for business other restaurants will take their place.
