Trade is usually win-win. I am not good at politician and not that major. But currently US and China economy are still complementary. If USA and China can dialogue and sign pact in the following areas, it can reduce deficits to very low level. Trump should try this way first.
- Energy, USA already have developed to very advanced level, China needs myriad energy to sustain our development.
- High tech, for example "China will need 7,690 new airplanes by 2037", Boeing can sale hundreds of airplanes to China; also Apple, Google, Facebook, GM, GE, Microsoft, Ford, and so many other companies can take advantage of China market.
- Agriculture, China has 1.4 billion people, each day we need huge food related products. Rice and corn are our main products, but we need more and more other kind of agricultural products. This really huge market.
- Dual-usage product, which Congress banned but China has huge market. For example, black hawk helicopter and their engine, nuclear power plant and technology, aerospace technology.

US imports at least $500 billion from China alone with more tariffs to come. The US is starting to phase out imports from China and buying elsewhere according to many US companies during their earnings reports that they will be diversifying their supply chains to avoid tariffs.

The main problem of the US is not a trade deficit with China. The real problem is the US spent too much money in military spending. According to the 2019 US budget, 52% of all US discretionary spending in on the military. Another 6% goes toward veteran benefits. In comparison, only 7% each goes to infrastructure and education.

We shouldn't do business with the Chicoms in the first place. If other countries want to, considering their violations of h an rights and strict co unist control, that's their business. But we should discourage them by reminding them who they are dealing with.

trump's tariffs sure have hurt China. Also means that the people have a lot more money to spend and they are less inclined as an individual to go deep in debt like Americans do, that would be a disgrace.

China sells many products on Ebay, what will happen to these products?
The import expo created a venue for people with no access to Chinese market. It is good for some small business and less developed countries. I wish it will grow as big as canton fair.

Import 57 billion, reverse engineer it and sell 200 billion back to the same countries you imported it from. Haha
