Girls are more attached to their parents than boys. You raise a boy with utmost care, love & affection -- the boy grows, established, gets married & then flies away leaving parents fumbling for themselves -- that is, if the parents are lucky. Many of them will come back to turn parents out of their houses to own that one. Wonder why on earth fools are eager to get a male child.
