This is the shocking moment an air hostess fell onto the tarmac from a parked plane after accidentally stepping through the gap between loading stairs and a cabin door.
Online footage shows the flight attendant dangerously hanging below the rear cabin door before hitting the ground at an airport in central China.
Doctors said the woman, who works for Xiamen Air, suffered spine compression fractures as a result of the incident.
According to iFeng.com, the flight attendant fell out of flight no. MF8253 of Xiamen Air on November 10 after the plane had arrived at the Zhengzhou Xinzhou International Airport in the afternoon.
CCTV footage captured how the air hostess grabbed onto the cabin door before plunging down 2.7 metres (8.9 ft) onto the tarmac.

My brother traveled to Shanghai on business for two weeks ending his trip in Hong Kong. Took trains and buses, escalators and elevators etc. He was astonished at the lack of the most basic health and safety standards. Tho we complain (rightfully so) of the incredibly excessive nanny state America has become; he says there is a happy medium and China is at the zero health and safety end of the spectrum. He also said tho an incredibly clean country (streets, sidewalks, train stations) he could "chew" the air it was so dirty.
