Not bothered with someone else's stand on Arunachal Pradesh, Nirmala Sitharaman says
AHMEDABAD: Rebuffing China's objection to her visit to Arunachal Pradesh, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today said the northeastern state is an Indian territory and the country is not concerned about someone else's opinion on it.
Earlier this week, China had objected to Sitharaman's first visit to the border state, saying her tour of the "disputed area" was not conducive to peace in the region.
India had rejected Beijing's objection and asserted that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of the country.

Who made the blunder of recognizing Tibet as part of China. India should keep pestering China on Tibet, South China sea,....etc as it is doing to us.

In fact, China has occupied our territory in Ladakh and in Kashmir. China is the aggressor. They have to vacate these regions.

I absolutely respect this minister for her stand. The defense minister of A sovereign state can go wherever she wants, whenever she wants. Do we needs Chinese consent??? Maybe the Chinese thought it was Pakistan

Well said and China should forget the North East. They should stop taking objections and instead agree and settle for India's stand.
