It is better for Armed Forces Chiefs to be silent to the press. Such news would make the diplomatic relationship difficult for Central Govt.

Has he gone mad or what..does he have any sense of responsibility which he is carrying for the post he holds! Did anybody ask him for such a press opinion.
Such an idiot...no wonder why Indian diplomats hired by UPSC are considered such bad mouthed in the world and notorious. Pathetic

Better not to spill out what you are capable of. In the meantime keep on adding fire power to the armoury so that no one dare to look towards us. However, personally I feel we must concentrate more on economic power without lowering our guards so that the economics itself takes over all such concerns over war in the long run.

shrewdness lies in maintaining golden silence but nevertheless keeping required vigil again silently.

I fail to understand why India has to show his strength every now and then it has ben proven without doubt that Indian Armed forces are capable of handling China as was evident in Doklam but why do we need to blow our own trumpet.

India should not go to war for atleast 20-25 years if it wants to reach the level of a major superpower. We are lagging behind in almost every field as compared to China and other developed countries. Any war will only take our progress backwards which we can''t afford in the current state of development.
