NEW DELHI/COLOMBO: Even as the Indian go nment pressed Sri Lanka for a thorough probe into the killing of an Indian fishermen, Sri Lanka said an initial probe had ruled out its navy's involvement in the in dent. India had taken up the issue with Lankan PM Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The 22-year-old Indian fisherman was s t dead on Monday while he was fishing in a mechanised boat a short distance off Katchatheevu islet. Local fishermen alleged that he was killed by the Sri Lankan navy while another was injured.

Why it is mentioned as TN fisherman? Y not Indian Fisherman???? Ridiculous!!!
Asking Lanka to probe killing is a joke. Its like telling Pakistan to probe 26/11 in dent
Please change the title as 'Indian Fisherman'.... nothing to say more
when a fisherman from other states killed, it is Indian fisherman. When a fisherman from Tamilnadu killed, it's Tamil fisherman.
Wow... Asking offenders to probe their own crime. Justice served.
On many occasions those caught on fishing voyage have successfully been released and come home. What happened to this poor soul must get investigated, and Country must demand a satisfactory report from Sri Lankans.
EVERYONE IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF INDIA SOFT & HONESTY, PEACE AT ALL COST APPROACH... Even the Bangladeshis Laugh at Indians as SOFT, TOO GOOD... .. I think Lanka is making grave mistake taking Modi for granted.
