印度成功试射拦截导弹
NEW DELHI: In yet another step towards an operational two-tier ballistic missile defence (BMD) system, India on Wednesday tested a low-altitude interceptor missile to destroy an incoming ballistic missile over the Bay of Bengal.
DRDO on February 11 had tested a high-altitude interceptor missile+ as part of the experimental BMD system, which is designed to track and destroy ballistic missiles both inside (endo) and outside (exo) the earth's atmosphere for a higher "kill" probability.
印度朝成功建立两级弹道导弹防御系统又迈了一步。周三，印度试射一枚低空拦截导弹，摧毁孟加拉湾上空来袭的一枚洲际导弹。
作为实验弹道导弹防御系统一部分，印度国防研究发展组织2月11日试射了一枚高空拦截导弹。
该导弹被设计用来跟踪并摧毁地球大气层外来袭的洲际弹道导弹。
