NEW DELHI: India may be wary about how things will pan out with the new Donald Trump administration on the political, economic and other fronts, but there is no such pressing concerns on the bilateral defence ties.
India and the US have agreed to "sustain and take forward" the momentum of their expansive bilateral defence relationship, which is the keystone of their overall strategic partnership, in talks between defence minister Manohar Parrikar and his counterpart General James Norman Mattis on Wednesday evening.
TRUTH BE TOLD
Some people think India spending on defence is a waste of money, but a good business deal will give India the leverage over US. Its better to be a valuable business partner with mutual respect than be a begging bowl like Porkistan.

India and America should work closely to declare Pakistan a terrorist state.
All these defense ties mean nothing if Pak still has its nukes in place.

We have More than Enough Foreign Exchange to buy Quality Defence and Offence Armaments. We don't Beg like Porkistan.
That sends shivers into the body, mind and soul of Pakistan''s civil and military rulers.
To counter china india need to stick with USA.
seems some porkis are jealous.
The only real story here is that USA once again tricked and scared us to buy ever more over-priced weapons from them.
see the head gear and rifles of US soldiers and Indian soldiers. this the pathetic condition of our soldiers. even they dont have proper protection jackets.
