Its little disappointing to see Russia making things complicated. India needs US to counter China. I believe that is where our defense relation with US ends. But India considers Russia as an all weather friend in every manner. But their support to CEPC, and increasing defense deals with Pakistan, when India has not cancelled any deals with Russia gives a doubt into the relation.

DRDO is too slow in execution and testing new weapons. Agni V for example been in testing for the past 5 years ? That is too slow for the security requirements of the nation. Government and DRDO should figure out how to make things better and faster.
