China ups the ante, to build steel plant in Gwadar as part of CPEC
NEW DELHI: China announced its plans to set up a steel factory in Gwadar city as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Zhao Lijian confirmed the news at a conference organised by an Islamabad based think-tank and attended by top diplomats, academicians and mediapersons.
“The steel factory will be three times bigger than the free economic zone being set up in the Gwadar city, and an agreement in this regard between China and Pakistan will be signed soon,” said Zhao, as quoted by Pakistan’s Nation.
indian media is so hyper with CPEC news, why do you need to put so much of CPEC news all the time, this is unnecessary importance to china pakistan things, we don”t need to worry too much about it.
I think india should build arms factory in Mangolia
CPEC would very soon be like “East India Company”. Pakistan will regret it later. Paki- Chini Bhai-Bhai bolkey peeth mey chura bhok dega.
good for us …some terrorsists will be working in the factory so less issues on our border
Next PM of Pakistan would be from China… Lol.. Chinese construct projects and sent their own workers there. Chinese do not trust their friend. Two rotten countries with third rate leaders.
India can consider offering US an air force base in Ladakh, manned by both the airforces. India needs about 3-4 decades of good economic growth. Can use US as insurance policy. Simultaneously the Tibet issue should also be brought to light
Media trying to create enimity between India & China. If CPEC is good for Pakistan and china so let it be, why this should be a big concern for india? We need to look into our economic progress
Pakistan will become a Chinese colony and eventually will be swallowed by China one fine day.
India should offer US, one navy base in Andaman- Nicobar, one in Kerala and one airforce bace in Arunachal Pradesh. This will solve pretty much all problems. Every body is in control!!!
China has bought Pakistan or not, China is going to become East India company or not. But one thing is clear.. Indian sure are burning in hell of jealousy.
