Think your commute is bad? This is what a Chinese subway station looks like on a snowy day
When snow starts to fall, travelling around always seems to be chaotic.
This was certainly the case in Zhengzhou, central China, after it was hit by a blizzard, reports Huanqiu, an affiliation with the People’s Daily Online.
Images show the city’s subway system overrun with passengers on the evening of November 21.
according to reports, the snow hit the province of Henan on November 21 during the night and continued until 5.30pm the next day.
A red snowfall warning was issued.
Zhengzhou where the images were taken received some 15mm of snow.
Images from the metro station in the city show the sheer overcrowding as many people struggled to go about their daily life due to the impact of the snow.
Many people have shared and commented on the video on China’s social media site Weibo.
One user commented: ‘All I can see in the photo are heads.’
And one user said: ‘It’s so crowded. It will be dangerous if any stampede happened.’

This is my worst nightmare. I would get a panic attack. I hate crowded areas. I avoid shops at the weekend. I don’t feel comfortable.
