Dramatic footage shows rescuers using EIGHTY diggers to save a boy who fell into a 130ft deep well while picking cabbages on a Chinese farm
A large-scale rescue operation is underway in China to save a little boy who fell into a 40-metre-deep well (131 feet) while picking cabbages with his father.
The six-year-old, whose condition remains unknown, plummeted into the well at around 11am local time on Sunday in a rural village of Hebei Province, according to Chinese media.
Around 80 diggers are working around the clock at the scene in a bid to save the child, who has been trapped for around 50 hours by now.

Why not put a person down there on a rope to capture and pull out the kid and then of course import proper H&S legislation based on the UK system to prevent this from occurring again.

No one sealed the pipe after the well went dry leading to all this misery and possibly death. Seems like they are going about all this in the wrong way but what do I know.. Must be one important child as we see all too often how people are treated over there in the news stories. If all countries only considered what other countries do maybe these types of incidents wouldn’t happen in the first place! Health and safety laws in the west cover this sort of thing, just like traffic laws, rules but China has adopted many yet. All the best and prayers for this child, hope he is alive still.
