NEW DELHI: India says its hopeful China will see the logic of having India inside the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
Briefing journalists, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, "We had fruitful talks between the disarmament and international security affairs division and Chinese lead negotiator. We remain hopeful that eventually, China will see the logic of India being inside the NSG, which ultimately will benefit the global nuclear non-proliferation regime".
Swarup said, "After the NSG plenary meeting in Seoul, we had continued conversations with NSG members and remain engaged in the process. We have lodged our application for NSG, it is now for NSG members to consider it and take a decision on it."
even a child knows that china , which has enormous economic interest
in pak, will never support india. the time is ripe for
a strong swadeshi movement against the cheap products
of china, notably its cell phones. george fernandez openly declared even
two decades back that china is our real enemy. i send him a royal salute.

Compelling Pakistan to go nuclear in 1998, India carried out its nuclear tests first, thus disturbing equilibrium in the South Asian region. And now this new quest of India to be part of NSG is definitely alarming for Pakistan as its case is robust than India and deserves equal status to maintain strategic stability between two nuclear neighbours.
