Russia and China in £16bn deal to develop long-range passenger jet to rival Boeing and Airbus
China and Russia have announced the joint development of a long-range passenger plane which is set to challenge Boeing and Airbus.
State-owned planemakers Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) and United Aircraft Corp (UAC) of Russia presented a mock-up of the jet at the Zhuhai Airshow in China on November 1.
According to COMAC, the joint venture will develop a 280 seat wide-body plane with a range of 12,000 kilometres (7,500 miles).

China already has a lab on outer space and has just launched a rocket big enough to go to Mars. UK does not even has a rocket to send a small satellite to the orbit. China is on a continent and the Brexit UK is on three islands of which two are heading separatism. Big trouble in small Britain.

come the f.ck off Britain hands over millions of pounds in aid to China despite the Communist state boasting the second biggest economy in the world, beaten only by the US. Official figures show Britain gave Beijing £27.4million

Hker, China just showed off their newest military jet and drone, so obviously built with plans stolen from American designs, so please, don’t pat yourself on the back too hard with your “Chinese innovation” spiel. China is innovative in some areas, certainly not in others. Just like every single modernized country on the planet.

There is already a Boeing factory in China. They are now going to reverse engineer it together with the Russians!

China and Russia working together on a plane…what could go wrong. Think I’ll just trust my life to Boeing and AirBus.

The French were not pragmatic in Vietnam like the British were in India, after WW2. They pursued ideologically consistency to explain themselves. Thus China is in the powerful position it enjoys these days.
