RIO DE JANEIRO: India's Devendra Jhajharia bettered his own world record to win gold in the men's javelin throw F46 event at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
Devendra won gold in the javelin event at the 2004 Athens Paralympics with a record throw of 62.15 metres, becoming only the second gold medallist at the Paralympics for India, and improved upon it with an attempt of 63.97 metres at the Olympic Stadium (Engenhao) here on Tuesday.
Able people are just being loud! and disable citizens making us Proud.
Salute. You Sir are a hero.
Congratulations to our Medal winners in Paralympics in Rio. Their achievements make me wonder why is it that our physically- abled Olympic athletes are unable to win any where as our paralympics athletes are doing better every time
well done devendra, we all are proud of you
India''s flag is flying high once again thanks to Devendra . India is proud of your achievement
We really feel proud of these athletes who have brought such glory to our nation but sad at the same time that our country couldn''t even get one gold medal in Olympics.
Its time to salute these athletes.

They are the true champions! They need to be honored and recognised on par with regular sportsmen or a tad higher. They have made the Indian flag fly high in Rio! They deserve our salute

How is that in Para Olympic performance of our players is excellent but in main Olympic our Country could not perform well.
At least we are getting gold in Paraolympics

I am waiting for sachin to gift all the paralympic medalists a BMW car or something more than that.
India gets 2G, 1S, 1B in Paralympics compared to 2 in regular. Differently abled are doing better than abled not only for India but also for few other nations. 1500m paralympcs race saw all top 3 winners beating Rio Olympics 1500 m record !! Amazing
Thank you for making another national anthem.congratulations.
