Modi’s Vietnam visit aimed at piling pressure on China: Media
HANGZHOU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Vietnam ahead of G20 summit here was aimed at jointly piling pressure on China and to raise their “bargaining chips” with the country, Chinese state media said on Sunday
“Given the South China Sea issue, Beijing-Hanoi relations have not been smooth over the past years. Negative emotions toward Beijing among the Vietnamese people have also been rising,” an article in the state-run Global Times website said.
“Under such a backdrop, Modi’s visit to Vietnam has without doubt made Indians associate the tour with many strategic meanings, believing that New Delhi and Hanoi might jointly pile pressure on Beijing,” it said.
Hmmm! Time only tells whether china got pressure or not. Because the Chinese media making all sort of efforts to undermine India”s strategic moves.
Not only Vietnam, extend support Indonesia, Philippines, and so on. No neighbors of south china sea are happy with China. china poked with its raising military and economic power.
If Modi”s visit to Vietnam is not a big deal then why is China media crying about it?

This time dragon Nation is worried about Indo – Vietnam”s growing bilateral relations
Chinese media prints motivated statements and threaten India every day. By this way they try to keep India under pressure. AND what China is doing by helping Pakistan, the entire world knows it for pressuring India. If Chinese think India has tried to pressurise China by visiting Vietnam, then, what is wrong in it ? Its quite be-fitting strategy.
Is not this part of International diplomatic game? And is not Red China playing similar thing through the shoulders of Pak?
A war between China and India would be good for the Global Economy.
To pressurize china or not, its for sure a good strategic move by Mr.Modiji to bring in good relationship with these countries as we have to improve the presence in ASEAN for better trade and better identity as a global power.
It is good that Chinese media realised it. China continues creating enemies around all its borders showing Muscle power (except Pakistan) and India continues making friendship.
