莫迪强调加快扩大铁路网的重要性

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said railways is expanding the rail network in the country faster as it has commissioned 3500 km track in the last two years.

“Earlier, 1500 km line was commissioned in the last 10 years while today we have succeeded in commissioning 3500 km line in two years,” Modi said in his Independence Day speech.

莫迪总理今天表示,印度铁路网的扩张提速了,过去两年印度开通了3500公里铁路。

“以前10年才开通1500公里,现在两年就新建3500公里铁路。”莫迪在独立日演讲中说。

Railway line commissioning means a train can pressed into service on the line after completion of all trials on the new track.

Currently, railways is laying the 7.8 km track in a day and according to the plan, it will go up to 13 km per day next year.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu along with other Cabinet Ministers was present at the Red Fort during the function.

目前,印度每天铺设7.8公里铁轨。按照计划,明年铺设铁轨的速度会提高到13公里。

Referring to the faster clearance of projects, PM said “Earlier it used to take two years for getting clearance for rail projects, now those are getting cleared in 3/4 months or maximum within six months.”

谈到项目审批的速度,总理说,“以前铁路项目的审批需要2年时间,现在只要3-4个月,最多6个月就获批。”

Highlighting the wide range of rail operation in the country, Modi said “while we talk of bio-toilets in trains, on the other side we are also dreaming of bringing bullet train.”

莫迪说,“我们一方面讨论火车生态厕所,另一方面我们梦想引入高铁。”

Railways has set a target of installing bio-toilets in all coaches by 2019 to improve the hygiene and cleanliness at railway premises.

印度铁路设定了到2019年在所有车厢上配备生态厕所的目标,改善铁路的卫生,加强火车的整洁。

On the bullet train project, work is going on to have the first high speed train between Mumbai and Ahmedabad with Japanese help.

在日本的帮助下,印度第一条高铁,从孟买到艾哈迈达巴德的高铁项目已经在进行。

Mumbai -Delhi is only 1500 kms via Kotah, this govt (PM) is boasting that it has laid and commissioned 3500 kms of rail lines in the 2 years it has been ruling. Therefore @ this rate it will not take 5 years,but only one year to lay & commission this 1500 kms. This is going to be a world record.

    • 今天看了下美国国家地理频道对于青藏铁路的解密,艾玛,觉得我们中国的工程师太了不起了。工程师一个个看起来灰头土脸低调的很,哪里想得到,这种一下子就是20万人上工的工程居然是本国工程师将难题一一解决的。穿山过水就不用说了,铁路要穿越地震断裂带,要穿越扬沙带,还要在各种不同类型的永冻土层上建,还要建得质量好又省钱。 我就在想,这工程除了中国,真没哪个国家能够完成,光永冻土层上铺建的问题就解决不了,何况还是各种不同地理特质的永冻层。咱中国人搞工程似乎有一种,领导只要说了要做出来,就是死也要搞出来,结果没死搞出来了。

      • 然后我想到了印度建铁路,一天嚷嚷着建铁路,也没见多大改善。在那么好的地理环境下建铁路,怎么就没建多少。还想把地铁建到和我们差不多地形的高原上,让我觉得真是一个大笑话。 ,印度就是给他100年,也建不出青藏高原那样的铁路。

      • 青藏铁路建设方案在50多年前就立案了,50多年前修青藏铁路死了3000多军人没有修上去,因为一是修建环境太恶劣了(大部分是高原反应)、二是工具太落后了、物资缺乏。拖了50多年才重新开始修,重新开工青藏铁路是零死亡率,光修青藏铁路随行的医护人员就有2000人,在工地上医护人员随时随地巡线,另外还有专门设置在工地的医院和各种高原反应治疗的仪器。
