NEW DELHI: A Chinese delegation from Guangdong province is in India to woo local entrepreneurs for an international expo scheduled in October. The event held on Wednesday saw participation of several Indians entrepreneurs who expressed their keenness to participate in the expo.
Speaking on the occasion, Tan Guangming, vice investigator of Bureau of Commerce of Guangdong Province said the expo will also see participation of nations along the maritime silk route.
Tan said that there are several new initiatives that have been undertaken in the expo this year, which includes providing interpreters as demanded by participating entrepreneurs.
He said the expo will also be an opportunity for Indian entrepreneurs to showcase their products and also get a platform to interact with international players.
Vinod Sharma, chairman of the National Committee on ICTE, Confederation of Indian Industry emphasised on the need to encourage trade between the two countries through 'Business to Business' platforms and stressed on providing Indians SMEs an international business exposure.
The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo 2016 will held in Dongguan city from October 27 to 30.

Chinese are interested in Indian entrepreneur because they are playing major role in the economy there and Indians will definitely join there for expo. Whereas, Chinese will rarely invest in India as they know it is not worth for them. But they are more interested to dump their products which is made in China in India.
