India’s NSG bid stops at China wall
NEW DELHI: China remained the last major obstacle in the way of India’s membership bid in the Nuclear Suppliers Group as 47 of 48 members supported New Delhi’s application at the group’s special plenary session in Seoul on Thursday.
The session debated until midnight but failed to come to a conclusion after hours of discussions, with China adamant in its opposition. Questions and doubts by other fence-sitting countries dissolved in the course of the evening, leaving China as the last man standing against India. Officials in Seoul said the meeting would restart on Friday. After Thursday’s NSG meeting, delegations were asked to revert to their headquarters for fresh instructions.
BOYCOTT all products made by chinese companies then see how these morons come to their knees
Let”s boycott all chinese products. …
Even India fails to secure NSG membership at this time, it has been a great success that all 47 members except china support our right. Very embarrassing situation for China and the globe has already recognized India as an emerging global power. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!!
Believe or not I am looking for the products before buying .If made in China Simply boycotting them. Hope my fellow Indians start doing same .
China should agree.A disagreement at this stage will be direct implications of China oppression on India. A conclusion that China will not allow any other country to rise in Asia.
China will bow down! It can not afford to say no to a state head. If it will then ready for the show down! The open cold war!
stop trading with china.
China an anti India country
gold india is far superior to china”s rusty iron brother. There will be consequences for China
Can NSG group suspend China for a day and thereby their vote is not counted for that day! With this consensus is still there and India is included. Suspension or abstain from China has to be w consensus ofcourse where China cannot vote bcoz of conflict of interest! Alternatively, change the group Charter.
