China is testing its first stealth fighter, aims to close military gap with US
BEIJING: China is still testing its first stealth fighter, the J-20, but the warplane will soon enter service, the air force said, after pictures circulated in Chinese media suggesting it had already joined the active fleet.
China expects the J-20 to help narrow the military gap with the United States, and its confirmation of the aircraft’s first test flight coincided with a visit to Beijing in 2011 by then – US Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
Some analysts have said J-20 photographs suggest China may be making faster-than-expected progress in developing a rival to Lockheed Martin’s radar-evading F-22 Raptor.

It is not a big deal .India already had drone , stealth & UAV technologies 1000””s of years ago during ancient Vedic times.
The sacred vedas & other ancient hindu scriptures already contain the detailed blueprint & technical specifications for all key technologies …like Stealth aircraft , drones, fighter planes , rocket ,satellite , radio, Radar , microprocessors, nuclear reactors ….etc.
DRDO must consult ancient Vedic scriptures and develop stealth fighter technology for the nation.
Yes India had everything that exists now on earth. Only the improvement of bullock cart is remaining to be done!!!!
Vedas has all the science, that”s why India is so modern nation with the latest technological advancements!
Lol. Somehow, I think a lot of your upvotes came from people who fail to understand what sarcasm is. 😀
Population is the strength of China. We have similar population more intelligent too but we fight over silly things
I”ve seen the reviews and specification and it just looks like a cheap Chinese version of F-22 raptor… There is nothing that China cant create copies of… but planes this is heights…LMFAO
And we are still stuck in outdated TEJAS!!
Compared to the Chinese defense progress India is in primitive stage mainly because of kick backs in defense deals at the cost of internal development by UPA and congress
India had started fighter jet development way back indira Gandhi”s time. . but alas, our Government Babu”s are so unproductive, nothing (except Tejas) really materialized till date. Because guys like Augusta pay heavy bribes to these Babu”s for delaying their development. this is India.
Likely China copied from US 🙂
Another cut and paste job, most probably! Hope it doesn”t disintegrate in flight!
There is nothing unusual about developing new technology, which every country does if it wants a modern military, however is this a case of developing or wholesale ”copy and paste” otherwise known as hacking or espionage? China”s army of overseas students and workers are the ones who deserve most of the credit here
