90% of Indian computer users cannot send email
While focusing on its Digital India campaign, the government may not have realised that computer literacy in the country is abysmally low. A recent report shows that among all computer users in the country, 14.2% are capable of creating text files, while just a little over 12% can send emails. The urbanised union territories have a higher proportion of computer literates than that of states.
Mainly because they may not have internet access, as email would need net access, not computer alone. On a lighter note they might be interested in female and not email…
Right. It may be because they might not have got a chance to send email to friends or family members who may not be having computer/internet access, so to whom they will send.
Indian computer users are busy watching phonographic pictures and films rather then doing any productive work with their computers
here’s another idiot.
Could be as the RAPE RATES a very HIGH.
INDIA IS BUDDING TO BE A STUPID SUPER POWER?
Email is outdated tool. This is the age of texting and talking. Like P&T, this tool will go into archives.
Email has authenticity unlike texting.Emails are stored and used for future reference. It will never be outdated. Tell me any company that works without emails.
