KOLKATA: Apple has bucked the trend in iPhone sales in India in the January-March quarter, with sales growing by 56% and the company saying it will place more emphasis in the market, the management said during the second quarter conference call with analysts on Wednesday early morning.
第一季度，苹果在印度的销量逆市而行，销量增加56%。苹果管理层在第二季度电话会议上称，苹果将进一步重视印度市场。
The bullish comments about India came when Apple reported its first drop in quarterly revenue growth in 13 years, which fell by 13% due to drop in global iPhone sales.
苹果是在报出13年来首次季度收入下滑之际发表这些乐观评论的，据报道苹果全球销量下滑13%。
During the call, Apple CEO Tim Cook said:" If you take a look at India, we grew by 56%, and we're placing increasing emphasis in these (emerging) areas, where it's clear there will be disproportionate growth versus the more developed areas."
苹果CEO库克说：“看一看印度，我们（销量）增加了56%，我们越来越重视这些新兴市场。显然会比发达市场带来不成比例的增长。”
