China officially ends three-decade-old ‘one child’ policy
BEIJING: China has officially junked its controversial one child policy, allowing couples to have a second child amid deepening demographic crisis of shrinking workforce and ageing population in the world’s second largest economy.
Chinese lawmakers passed a historic decision allowing all couples to have two children from January 1, ending its over three and half decades old policy that prevented over 400 million births in the country.

They have achieved their goals and India need to follow suit or else we will have the dubious distinction of worlds’ populous country soon
The population will boom once again. India should adopt this rule

this should implement on entire world as the existing resources will not be sufficient to take care of excess population.
Now we will have China and India competing against each other in each and every sphere. Financially, Militarily and in Population too!!
China, unlike us has been able to achieve its target and changing the policy based on new experience.,We neither have a policy nor have a target.
OH now its time for us to think about such BANs.BUT Wondering, Is it POSSIBLE? EVEN if you want to do it for benefit of people YOU CAN’t impose it because we are in such democracy where many tolerant, secular and savers of Human rights are misusing, rights given in DEMOCRACY. NOt against DEMOCRACY and enjoying it but AGAINST those who misusing it. JAi HIND
Because of its one-child policy China has more number of aged people than India has, which has actually weakened China in many ways. So India’s future looks bright because of its huge, relatively younger population. China has to catch up with India at least in this regard.
The one child policy helped when their population was exploding. Now China has revoked its decision as its ageing population is increasing.
Now India should introduce two child policy .
China will pay for this blunder of one child policy adopted and brutally enforced all rhese years.
India will compete don’t worry.
2.2 children per couple keep population stable. 2 kids not enough. Too late.
Rigorous population control is need of the hour…
