China ends one-child policy, allows couples 2 kids
BEIJING: China announced the end of its hugely controversial one-child policy on Thursday, with the official Xinhua news agency saying that all couples would be allowed two children.
China is “abandoning its decades-long one-child policy”, Xinhua reported.
The policy restricted most couples to only a single offspring, and for years authorities argued that it was a key contributor to China’s economic boom.
Two children policy is good for Chinese in long run.

One child policy should have been implemented in India too, but applicable to all religions…….!
Good step by china government but they should take care so that again china wont face the same issue for which they enforced single child policy
Very bad news for “Make in India”. Now China will have sufficient workforce to sustain their domination of manufacturing across the low-end and increasingly high-end products for the world.

this will increase more burden on the world now..
Chinese kids can finally have siblings.
india also should employ 2child policy to all of its citizens, whoever is offended can have more children at the cost of losing all subsidiaries including reservation quota

Good step by China in respect of continuity of a family .Hitherto mishaps to the only child of the family in old age of the parents must have been very painful and demoralizing.
Now China allows people to have two children to push up its economy! Hitherto it believed that one child family would boost its economy! But they have realized that it is wrong! They have more aged people! They want a young generation that can work for the progress of the nation!
