VK Singh sparks row with ‘dog’ remark on dalit deaths, apologizes
NEW DELHI: BJP’s run of controversial statements continues with minister of state V K Singh’s ill-phrased comment that the government cannot be held responsible if a stone is thrown at a dog – in the context of the murder of two dalit children in Faridabad – inviting a storm of criticism from opposition parties.
Though Singh tried to initially defend his remarks, by late evening he apologized for them. Sources said his fuller apology came after BJP chief Amit Shah spoke to him.
Shame on media for interpreting and distorting statements. Media should show some restraints . Shame on Media .

He simply meant that the Central Government can’t intervene for every bad thing that happens in the Country. I did not find that comment insensitive. It is nice of him to apologize.
Mr V K Singh says he just given an example of Dog, Does not mean the word for Dalits! After Godhra honourable PM (then Gujarat CM) given and statement “if street Dogs comes under the wheel of a car may not be the Dog’s faults, may not be the fault of the Driver Either”. Both of them did not mean the Word Dog to any particular community! These people are sunning the country! Ha ha ha!
As such also we are all dogs to bring them to power, he is right
Go to hell don’t ever come to us for votes otherwise you will treated like Dogs.
You yelled what was in your mind.
Why can’t he keep quite if he can’t talk sense? The leaders should be careful while commenting on sesitive matters.
This man is sick. He is rotten egg
First commit mistake and then ask for apology. It new trend these days
BJP should accept the blame, like a man, instead of making Singh apologize
Jarnail Singh Dhillon
This is Modi team. What can people expect from V K Singh and others? They speak what is in their minds.
Good Idea , Diverting public from core issues
If you don’t know how to speak, please don not speak. Words cannot be taken back. Very poor and derogatory comment by V K Singh
