WASHINGTON: Two television journalists were shot to death by a co-worker during a live broadcast from a strip mall in a small Virginia town, a stark reminder of America's familiar problem with guns and racial tension as well as the physical dangers that reporters face. The co-worker gunman later shot himself dead after a police chase.
The two journalists, Alison Parker, 24, a general assignment reporter, and Adam Ward, a 27-year-old cameraman, both from CBS affiliate WDBJ7 in Roanoke, were covering a story at Bridgewater Plaza, a lakeside shopping and recreational sports complex, when they were ambushed by the African-American gunman.
Parker was interviewing Vicki Gardner, head of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce, who was also shot in the back but survived and underwent a surgery.
Whatever happens, guns are going to stay in US.
India's quota people and America's blacks are the same. No self prestige and wants everything for free without any effort.
RACIAL DISCRIMINATION - STILL EXISTS IN ERUPEON COUNTRIES...
people who blindly follow the western culture and foolshly believe that it is the symbol of modernity should relalise the facts.
No terror links I hope.....
Guns are the most dangerous toys in the hands of arsonists!
Arsonists will always find a way to damage property and people.
Gun control is the need of the times...!! This guy had mental n anger management issues - not treated
Let's not shift the blame from this GUY who had problems. Even if he did not have guns, he would've used a knife, a car or a baseball bat to kill people.
