Microsoft and the hardware companies are making huge money on the release of new OS after each two years, users are bound to upgrade their hardware according to the OS. No check on them for their unfair practice in our country.
My 6 year old laptop which came with Windows 7 is working fine. I got windows 10 for free and its working great even on 6 year old hardware.
PC market is not different from mobile phones or any other product for that matter.
Did you have to reinstall the programmes after upgrading? I have tons of programmes. So rethinking on upgrading
Rs 8000 for only home version of the OS which updates itself 4 times a day and crashes 40 times!
Because of this price, large number of people tend to go for (free) pirated version. MS should bring down this price below 3000 so that every one will go for original software.
Lowering of prices will attract more buyers who use spurious version
One thing I deeply REGRET … why there is NO INDIAN COMPANY which can give a CHALLENGE to Microsoft for its Operating Systems … why can’t any Indian Company come out with a SAFE, BETTER and CHEAP Operating System say at Rs.2.5 k … what INFOSYS is doing … Don’t they have the Potential and the Talent …
Indian companies only work as labourers and do the jobwork given by their masters abroad. They do nothing on their own. Forget an operating system, ever heard of any good Made in India software?
Do you live under a rock? Name me an Indian company that has challenged any science- or technology-related global company. Besides spices, jewelry and clothes, we don’t see anything that’s brand India in the global market.
14000/-for an operating system? Not worth buying. Home edition should be at 2000 & Pro version at 4000 max.
you are not buying Micromax phone…its Microsoft operating system.
and they acknowledge their failure coz of which they offered it free
