Enjoyed small but wonderful description of the people of China and their eagerness to help the strangers.Yes as elsewhere mentioned in the comments, it all depends on the individuals.While Indians may be spotted for bad behavior sometimes, generally they are good to strangers particularly to a fair skin male. To women the attitude may differ. In USA here people do not tell you much unless your known to them but everything generally is so well mapped that we do not have to ask for guidance.

Hello Sindhuja- and we know little about the Chinese though they are our neighbours and we hate to know anymore . The main reason of this is that we all think that China betrayed us. I also thought so and never ever imagined that there was another side of the story too. I was shocked to learn from them that India betrayed China, but all in all they want to put it behind them and really look forward to friendship with India.
虽然彼此是邻居，但是我们对中国人了解甚少。
主要原因是我们认为中国背叛了我们。

Modi indeed has done a lot deal good to our relations with China and I think if we have good thinking people at the helm, we can a gain a lot more from our neighbour
