Sub shortage is due to skewed priorities of IN & MOD. They like to have more surface combatant ships including uber costly aircraft carriers than the high deterrent value submarines.

yeah sure good news, now who's going pay for them? if you can't afford to buy enough fighter jet how are you going to buy submarines? you can't you launched a competition for 6 subs, japan is not interested in selling to india, only Germany and Sweden is interested and the type 214 from Germany is being purchased by Pakistanis allies turkey. and also it's being built there too. so Sweden is your best bet . but i know and all of you know india is too current to make such a deal.

如果你没钱购买足够多的战机，又怎么会有足够多的钱买潜艇呢？

日本对把潜艇卖给印度的兴趣不大，只有德国和瑞典有兴趣出售。

巴基斯坦的盟友土耳其购买了德国的214型潜艇，而且那些潜艇在土耳其建造。

所以，最好的赌注是选择瑞典潜艇。

lol as usual, why do they always delay it until the last moment and buy things only in panic mode. this is bad planning and management. this needs to be more like the private sector. although inefficiencies exst in developed countries too, especially in govt jons, we have to find a way to make sure this doesn't happen all the time.

没有好的规划，缺乏有序的管理。
