KUNMING: China is keen to establish a high speed rail link between Kunming and Kolkata as part of its efforts to revive the ancient silk route, traversing through Myanmar and Bangladesh.

The proposal, which found a mention at the recently held Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) meet here, seeks to give a boost to the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar (BCIM) multi-model corridor project initiated by China.

The 2800 kilometer rail route could be a critical component for the BCIM corridor that seeks cross border trade and flow of people.

China has pledged $40 billion for the silk route, having a trade potential of $132 billion.

Sadly India main land never give due respect and diligence to North east economy and their people . if China demands Northeast and the people also follow Buddhism and looks similar it is good for northeast people to accept CHINA than INDIA since they will have far better life than now being with Indian discrimination . Unfortunately in many parts of India even Delhi , local people think northeast people are Chinese and face racist remarks . WHY we want to retain Northeast and claim as India when dont respect the people ?

遗憾地是,印度大陆从未重视东北经济,从未给予东北人民应有的尊重。

东北人民信佛教,长相看起来也差不多,如果中国来要东北邦,东北人民还不如将接受,总比留在印度能过上更好的日子,至少不用受到印度人的歧视。

不幸地是,在印度许多地方,甚至在德里,当地人认为东北人是中国人,对其抛出种族主义言论。

既然不尊重东北邦人民,为什么要留着东北邦,为什么说东北邦是印度的一部分。

It will benefit travelers & transport; India should agree to participate in this project which is really futuristic. Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar project or the rail link between Kunming and Kolkata will hasten development in the region.

All low cost and banned items will be dumbed in India from China. The Government should seek all possible advice from intelligence agency regarding aftermath if MOU is signed. No decision to be taken in hurry. We should be very vigilant against the Dragon.

这么一来,中国那种廉价货,还有被禁的,统统会倾销到印度。
