外文标题：No oil hunt in South China Sea without nod: Beijing to Delhi
NEW DELHI/ BEIJING: As India seeks to further its economic and defence engagement with Vietnam, China has warned New Delhi that it can't explore oil and gas blocks in South China Sea without seeking Beijing's approval.
India's ONGC Videsh Ltd is involved in oil and gas exploration in the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam.
"Any oil and gas exploration work should get approval first from China," said a top official of China's ministry of foreign affairs (MFA). The official added that pending the final settlement of territorial disputes in South China Sea, China would encourage "joint development" in the region.

True China is master of the world and Asia and all have to get its permission to do anything as once Japan did and Russia did this.

I suggest that the Institute of Strategic Studies in China read a bit of history when a comparatively all powerful Germany was beaten to pulp on two occasions because of greed and bullyin. Sadly China is heading that way.Systematically annoying the neighbours is what brought Germany to defeat in two world wars. Hope China is not repeating the same mistake. I would rather see a progressive and peaceful China. but looks like that is not the way china wants to go.
China should first seek permission from India for its explorations in Indian Ocean then talk about such fictitious claims

OK china , Give us your permission now, we want to dig oil from mainland China now.

China seems to be growing too big for their pants. Their sly operations and domineering attitude will only keep tension in the region simmering for a long time. The Chinese think they are feared by all and therefore they can stake a claim on any part of the globe they wish to possess. They should be shown their rightful place at the bottom of the rung. By flooding the world's markets with cheap and low quality manufactured goods they get the impression that they rule the roost. Various countries should implement policies/programs like 'Make in India'.

India is exploring in Vietnam's economic zone ... middle finger to China ... !! ... China should ask India's permission for its projects in disputed Kashmir, if it wants similar concessions from India in South China sea ... !!
