外文标题：India, China hold border talks in Delhi today
NEW DELHI: Special representatives of India and China held their 18th round of border dispute talks in New Delhi on Monday.
This is the first time that the NDA government engaged China on the border issue after national security advisor Ajit Doval was appointed as India’s special representative in November last year.
Chinese state councillor and former foreign minister Yang Jiechi, who leads his delegation, is also likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ajit Doval on Tuesday.

TALKING WITH CHINA AT LEAST HAS SOME MEANING –BUT TALKING WITH PAKISTAN MAKES US LOOK LIKE A WEAK NATION EVERY TIME WE SEEK TALKS ON SOME PRETEXT —-
When the Chinese army is not doing favour by not backing off from the Indian borders and making a habit of it occasionally then what is the use of doing a favour to them by having talks with them??? will this talk ensure that there is no such intrusion further or is it to make a namesake talk???
What is the purpose of the talks when the chinese govt is not listening to Indian govt??? is that not a bad thing to come??? are both trying to initiate the peace talks in the name of border??? What is wrong with the govt ???
The border talks have had been going on for a substantial number of years and the outcome need to be positive in the interest of the people of the two countries since it is win win situation for both of us keeping in view the economic and social development of the two countries wherein people to people contact is suffering with unfolding misconceptions …. hail the efforts of the two countries for the interaction and hope the ice is broken ….
