外文标题：China to Build North-south Trans Western High Speed Railway
China's HSR network is growing fast.
Can't wait as this will make tourism in these places easier.
There is another partially-completed HSR further to the west：
so underground HSW to Hainan... now the beaches will be so crowded any idea how long this will take>
It is already very crowded now.
Very expensive in winter time...
China only has one Hainan island in the tropical south
Ha ha. You must have forgotten the other South China Sea islands.:(
These islands - Yongxing (Woody), Yongshu (Fiery Cross), Chigua (Johnson South), Huangyan (Cuateron), etc are being developed and still work is in progress to increase their sizes.
They are still not open to tourist...
I hope they can be made bigger to hold tourist and hotels..
It is said to be similar as Maldives..
this is good for continued development of China.
China has begun work on a 1,213km railway that will link the two western regions of Qinghai and Xinjiang. The project is expected to cost $6.2bn.
1,200 KMs of HSR in 6 billion :o::o:
How are you building these things in such less
most place in Xinjiang and Qinghai are desert or no-man area.
So it will not cost much to compensate the local people.
Also China can produce almost everything of the HSR, from trains to railways to basic cement..
Also this project is not meant to make profit.
So this is why it is lower cost..
Well-done, China. The world is watching your miracle development
