外文标题：Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra's letter to Indian buyers over sales ban
Dear Mi fans,
We have been committed to continue our sales of Redmi Note and Redmi 1S devices in India. In the last 2 days alone, we received about 150,000 registrations for Redmi Note on Flipkart and the momentum has been terrific.
However, we have been forced to suspend sales in India until further notice due to an order passed by the Delhi High Court. As a law abiding company, we are investigating the matter carefully and assessing our legal options.
Our sincere apologies to all Indian Mi fans! Please rest assured that we're doing all we can to revert the situation. We have greatly enjoyed our journey with you in India over the last 5 months and we firmly intend to continue it!
Stay tuned for more information.

Its all about patent violation by Xiaomi. Ericsson owns a lot of patents. Its all legal wars between corporate over money. As far as security is concerned, companies have there data center in China. This doesn't imply that Chinese govt is accessing it.

Many here do not know that ban is due to one foreign company has sued this company on the toes of Micromax and others about the patent infringement. It has nothing to do with National Security or personal security. This case is no different than what Smasung/Apple/Nokia keep doing since ages. Ericson may be right, they way Indian court has ordered Micromax to pay to Ericson, same may apply here as well. Not a big deal... chill and enjoy good hardware at low cost, this phone rocks!!!!!

Why not Indians go in for Indian made products?? Chinese products are third rated products sold by a third rated seller. Once upon a time Flipkart was giving excellent service. Of late Flipkart has started cheating customers. They do not live up to the expectations. Before purchasing a product I would like to advice to our fellow country men to best utilise their hard earned money
