BEIG: A second case of self-immolation took place in Japan challenging Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's efforts to militarize the country, which had been wedded to a pacifist constitution since World War II. The incident comes two days after Abe shook hands with President , who has been the most strident critic of Japan's militarization.
日本发生第二起自焚事件，挑战安倍把国家军事化的努力，而该国自从二战以来一直固守和平宪法。据悉这一事件发生在安倍与主席握手后两天，而后者是日本军事化最尖锐的批评者。
A Japanese man set himself on fire, which resulted in his death in Tokyo's Hibiya Park on Wednesday. He left behind a note in which he expressed protest against the government's move to relax exsting controls on Self-Defense Forces, the name of Japan's military.

This is the second case of self-immolation since the last incident near Tokyo's Shinjuku Station in July. The Japanese media reported that the man who lit himself on fire in that case was also protesting Abe's decision to reinterpret the war-renouncing Article 9 of the Constitution.

We have heard of self immolation in TN & Telangana for certain causes but it is strange that it has traveled so far as Japan as a protest! It is reported that the harakiri was to oppose converting Japan into a military power! really sad for the incident and he may RIP. but this is the most beautiful thing in Buddhism which teaches not to harm and they harm themselves to show the pain like this.. Tibans are leading in this.. god knows when will other religion follow this type of non-violence.

All said but treaty which Japan signed after WWII was too crippling that was unnecessary.... You can't paralyze a country by taking its legs and giving it prosthetic legs for self defense purpose. In-order to protect its interest from Government Japan has to create its own military as and USA joining hands by signing tech treaties also put Japan in back foot
