Your perspective is correct Sudhakar, Tib side is itself a plateau and height varies between 3500 meter to 4800 meter and high passes go upto 5200 meter where as the passes in Indian side like 4000 meter + Kunzum, Barlacha etc. goes upto the towering height from almost 1000 meter high Manali / Srinagar region. Southern side is definitely steeper as it goes up from Indian pns which is almost at sea level where as in Northern side, Tib Plateau is located already at an average height of 4000 meter and so steepness is definitely lesser.

Also being in South side we are prone to Monsoon and its much more wet than the Northern side which is very dry and receive very less amount of rain. Only source of water in Northern part are Western Disturbances from Mediterranean Sea (now a days some Eastern Disturbances also coming from South China Sea).

Because of same reason it's easier to maintain KKH in China end than maintaining it in POK side and the road regularly prone to landslide and closure in POK end.

So terrain and climate wise we are certainly in difficult terrain to build infrastructure but then what we have done in Ladakh from infrastructure perspective which enjoys similar climate as Tib? Also the friendship highway crosses Himyan region through Everest region which is the highest part of the mountain and face heavy to very heavy snowfall in winter unlike the western Himyas and China still manage to keep it open year long. They keep open the deadly desert highway through Taklkan where in summer temperature shoots above 50 degree and in winter goes down to -30 degree. They keep open the Tib railway through out the year. We need to learn the art of managing infrastructure and engineering from them for sure

我们的地形和气候不利于修建基础设施,但是气候与类似的拉达克的基础设施又怎么说?翻越喜马拉雅山的友谊公路,冬天时下着暴雪,而中国仍然保持其长年累月畅通,这又怎么说。

他们让穿越塔克拉玛干沙漠的公路保持畅通,夏天时候的温度超过50摄氏度,冬天低至零下30摄氏度。他们保持青藏铁路全年运转。这些又怎么说

I wonder why the majority of foreigners only know that the Beig Shanghai and 'an,In fact, Chinese mainland and Beig Shanghai along with two super metropolis of Shenzhen and Guang,They are in Chinese are referred to as first-tier cities,I rarely see in a foreigner's travelogue mentions that Shenzhen and Guang, as a Cantonese is upset, In fact, in the city of Shenzhen than Shanghai and Beig, the details are good

Chengdu,……They are in Chinese are referred to as the second-tier cities

Mr. Liu, Glad to see you here. My most sincere thanks for taking your time out to read the log and your wonderful words of appreciation. The natural beauties of China is simply fascinating and very few countries can match the level of diversities China is having. I am in love with the country and sincerely plan to come back again. Though I travelled for a month and took 10000 km of overland journey, still it's nothing in comparison to China's length and width. I agree most of us think China means a trip through Beig -an - Shanghai and Guang and might be an extension to Shengzen, Macau and H, but China is actually much bigger and greater than that usual tourist circuit.


I still have roughly 2 more long China trip to be made:


1. Yunan - Sichuan - Qinghai - Gansu - Inner Mongolia - Heilongjiang - Jilin - Liaoning - Tian - Beig


2. Taking Trans Mongolian Railway to China and then crossing through China from Beig - Hebei - Shan - Henan - Hubei -Chongging - Hunan -Guang - Guang and then overland cross over to Vietnam.


I know still I couldn't cover the Eastern Coastal provinces of China like Fujian, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shang


I would ask for help from Chinese friends to make a good itinerary.

没错,我们中的大多数人认为去中国旅行就是去北京、西安、上海和广州,也许还会去深圳、澳门和,其实中国比通常的旅游路线要辽阔得多。


我还有两个中国旅行计划有待实现:


1、云南-四川-青海-甘肃-内蒙古-黑龙江-吉林-辽宁-天津-北京


2、搭乘跨蒙古铁路前往中国,然后是北京-河北-陕西-河南-湖北-重庆-湖南-广州-广西,然后经陆路前往越南


我知道这仍然不能覆盖中国的东部省份,比如福建、浙江、上海、江苏、安徽和山东


恳请中国朋友帮助制定一个旅游路线
